NBC has certainly put some thought into its future in recent weeks, currently said to be plotting the Jimmy Fallon take-over of 'The Tonight Show,' but what of its present? With the ratings in such dire straights, will fans flock back to 'Revolution' now that the sci-fi drama will resume its inaugural season this Monday with long-anticipated premiere "The Stand?" If 'Revolution' fans weren't already hungry for the premiere, we've got the first eight minutes of "The Stand" to watch inside!

'Revolution' had left us in a serious blackout since its November finale "Nobody's Fault But Mine," but this Monday March 25, the wait finally ends with 2013 premiere "The Stand!" We've seen a few clips and teasers to be sure, but YahooTV managed to power up the full first eight minutes of the premiere, chock full of helicopter-y action and powerful drama!

In addition to the intense action of the first eight minutes, the new episodes will introduce ’24′ vets Annie Herschling as an old love interest of Miles, and Leslie Hope as Georgia Federation President Foster. The addition of the Georgia Federation into the show’s mythology, as well as the exploration of other territories will supposedly give the series more of a “modern ‘Game of Thrones‘” vibe, according to comments from the producers at PaleyFest.

So, what are you waiting for? Power up the first eight minutes of Monday's 'Revolution' premiere "The Stand" below, and tune in for the actual broadcast March 25!
