Five Teaser Posters Are Found ‘On The Road’

Although there is no official release date for the Walter Salles adventure-drama 'On the Road' doesn't mean that they should keep quiet, twiddle their thumbs and wait for a deal to come through. Instead MK2 Productions released five new posters for the movie that shows off some of their impressive cast.

The story is based off the popular novel written by Jack Kerouac, written for the screen by Jose Rivera. The cast includes Kristen Stewart, Sam Riley, Garrett Hedlund, Viggo Mortensen, Amy Adams, Alice Braga, Elisabeth Moss, Tom Sturridge, Kirsten Dunst and many more.

The movie centers on Sal Paradise (Riley) an aspiring New York writer who, after the death of his father, meets Dean Moriarty (Hedlund), a wild and infectiously charismatic ex-con. They hit it off immediately. Determined to avoid the pitfalls of a narrow, prescribed life, Sal hits the road, joining Dean on what evolves into a life-changing physical and emotional odyssey. Thirsting for freedom, they discover the world, the ecstasy of experience, the connectedness of humanity and ultimately themselves.

Hopefully the project will wrangle in a good distribution deal so it will be released in North America sometime this year, preferably around the fall season. Take a peek at some of the posters below from the On the Road Facebook page.
