Life isn't easy, so sometimes it's sweet to watch a story where an everyday man perseveres through the worse of it. We get a glimpse of that tale in FilmDistrict's latest movie 'Playing For Keeps.'

The Gerard Butler-starring picture is about a failed soccer player who's trying to take advantage of a second chance at life. He's starting to mend his relationship between his son, fix his career and maybe have the ability to patch things up with his former flame. That's easier said than done when he gets a good look at some of the soccer moms who have their eyes locked on the single father as he coaches the little league soccer group. The rest of the cast includes Jessica Biel, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Dennis Quaid and Uma Thurman.

The film comes from 'The Pursuit of Happyness' director Gabriele Muccino, and the trailer's really lighthearted, cute, very familiar and unfortunately spoils a lot of the movie in general. This is a constantly occurring in trailers these days and we want it to stop. Nevertheless, we're curious to see how possibly comical and cute this can be, even if it looks like at least a half a dozen other films. 'Playing For Keeps' is out in theaters on December 7th.
