While many major network shows found themselves preempted for news coverage this week, NBC made at least one deliberate choice regarding its schedule that has some scratching their heads. After its highest-rated new series 'Revolution' wraps up its initial run of episodes in November, we won't see any new episodes until March! There is a bit of good news, however, as the series has just cast 'Taken' star Leland Orser and 'Sons of Anarchy' vet Patrick St. Esprit! So, who will the character actors portray?

The recent news about 'Revolution' going on break until March have many questioning NBC's methodology, considering how similar moves have damaged other big-ticket sci-fi shows, but for the moment news is good given the latest castings! According to Entertainment Weekly, 'Taken' star and 'ER' vet Leland Order has been tapped for a potentially recurring role of John Sanborn, a tense scientist with a penchant for building weapons.

Also joining the hit NBC series is sometime 'Sons of Anarchy' and upcoming 'The Hunger Games: Catching Fire' star Patrick St. Espirit as Wayne Ramsey, a tough leader in the rebel resistance against General Monroe (David Lyons). Like Orser, Esprit's role is believed to have the potential to recur. It isn't known when either will first pop up, but presumably before the long hiatus.

Tell us what you think of 'Revolution' so far in the comments!
