Warner Bros continues to fill out it's future movie schedule as they add 'Cupid' onto their roster. Yes, obviously we're talking about the Greek god which is better known as the flying naked child that appears on a number of cards during Valentine's Day.

The plot centers on a more cynical version of the winged god who's forced to create the perfect romance. We're wondering if this version of Cupid will be running around with gigantic wings along the same lines of what Dwayne Johnson wore for 'Tooth Fairy.' If so then this is going to be one interesting romantic comedy of the lighthearted persuasion to say the least.

But wait, it gets better. Variety reports that 'Cupid' is set to be produced by and star Russell Brand. We're not entirely sure how to take that, especially since it was proven last year that he doesn't have much star power when he's in a lead role (example: 'Arthur'). Nevertheless Warner Bros and filmmaker Joe Nussbaum are fairly confident that this is the kind of picture they want. It'll be interesting to see how it all pans out in the coming months.

Also, is it safe to assume that 'Cupid' will be coming out around Valentine's Day in two years? We think so.
