Before he shoots guys in 'Fast Six' or shoots guys in 'G.I. Joe: Retaliation,' Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson will shoot guys in 'Snitch.' Based on a true story, 'Snitch' stars Johnson as a dad who goes undercover in the DEA to free his son who was imprisoned after a set up and you can check out the trailer now.

To be fair, 'Snitch' doesn't feature as much guy-shooting as you might think (though it does feature a scene where The Rock sizes up the shotgun counter at a hunting store so wethinks a big shooting scene is coming). It's slightly more dramatic for The Rock, at least as dramatic as you can get while driving a sixteen-wheeler and driving drug dealers with Uzis off the road. (We said slightly more dramatic...)

From this trailer, it looks an awful lot like Mark Wahlberg's 'Contraband' - tough guy dad has to get himself involved with some nasty drug dealers to save a family member who's been set up. But 'Contraband' was actually better than it had any right to be and perhaps 'Snitch' will offer the same guilty pleasure.

'Snitch' stars Johnson, Susan Sarandon, Benjamin Bratt, Barry Pepper and Omar from 'The Wire!' It hits theaters on February 22nd and you can watch the first trailer below.
