Not even half an hour into the final SNL outing of April under Veep star and series alum Julia Louis-Dreyfus, and already we have our first May host locked in a Room. Yes, Brie Larson will make her hosting debut on May 7, the first of our final hosts.

As announced during the commercial break from Julia Louis-Dreyfus’ SNL return, the Room and Kong: Skull Island star will make her first SNL appearance on May 7, joined by musical guest Alicia Keys. Given the general adorableness factor, we wouldn’t be surprised by a Jacob Tremblay appearance either.

Where Larson will make her SNL hosting debut, Alicia Keys has acted as musical guest twice before, first in 2001 with host Reese Witherspoon, and again in 2010 alongside Charles Barkley (I know, right?)

SNL has yet to release the full hosting roster for its final May episodes (seasons don’t typically go past mid-May, meaning there may only be one further), but will Brie Larson kick off the home stretch right?

Stay tuned for more from Julia Louis-Dreyfus’ SNL return as it arrives.
