'Spartacus' was the first show to make blood, gore and way too many sex scenes cool long before 'Game of Thrones'' bevvy of naked chicks and beheadings came along, but it was by no means a smooth road for the Starz series. First there was season 1 called 'Spartacus: Blood and Sand,' which starred the late Andy Whitfield and was followed by the prequel mini-series 'Gods of the Arena' after the star's death. Then the role was recast to feature Liam McIntyre as Spartacus and the storyline was retitled as 'Vengeance.'

Now with the third and final season, titled 'War of the Damned,' airing this coming January, we can't wait to pick up where we left off in the main storyline. And to help you all get as pumped as us, we're offering up free copies of 'Spartacus: Vengeance' on Blu-ray to help catch you up on everything that's been happening.

That's three copies, meaning three lucky ScreenCrush readers will be chosen from the pool of applicants. All you have to do is enter your email in the form below before the contest ends on Friday, September 21.

'Spartacus: Vengeance' picks up where the series left off after 'Blood and Sand,' which ended its season finale with Spartacus and his band of repressed gladiators slaughtering their handlers of the House of Batiatus. Now our vengeful hero is setting his sights on the one person who captured his wife and condemned her to a life of slavery, leading to her death. But with the entire Roman Republic out to quell his army of freed slaves, he must decide which is more important -- satisfying his need for revenge or keeping his allies alive.
