‘Spartacus: War of the Damned’ “Mors Indecepta” Preview: Will Laeta Join the Rebellion?

Amid all the turmoil of this past week's all-new 'Spartacus: War of the Damned' episode "Spoils of War," which saw the rebels effectively routed from their occupation of Sinuessa en Valle, one major character shift took place. Not only was Spartacus' new lady-friend Laeta (Anna Hutchison) grievously wounded, but branded a slave and evicted from the city as well! 'Spartacus: War of the Damned' in its final season has seen the titular character develop an unlikely companion of late, that of the beautiful Roman dignitary Laeta, who had previously taken as much effort to thwart the Thracian rebel as help sustain his occupation of her city. Now, the two will find some common ground in this week's "Mors Indecepta," as Laeta now bears her own brand from Crassus' betrayal.

The rising bond between the pair may be a moot point however, unless Spartacus and the rebels can find a way to surmount Crassus' trap against the icy ridge, a task Spartacus' main ally Crixus isn't proving much help to accomplish. Will Spartacus and Laeta face doom together, or remain enemies 'til the bitter end?
