The brand-new Xbox Live Arcade zombie title State of Decay has apparently been a smash hit, as Undead Labs revealed some rather impressive sales statistics.

According to the developer's blog, State of Decay has already sold more than 250,000 copies during its first few days of availability. In case you were wondering, the only title to have a better opening two days was Minecraft. Pretty impressive company for an untested game and developer with no previous PC version building hype. Our sister site Arcade Sushi found State of Decay highly enjoyable, calling it a "unique experience" that "stands out amongst a collection of zombie action titles already bursting at the seams."

The good news doesn't end there though, as State of Decay will be getting a title update very shortly to improve the game even more. The full list of upcoming fixes can be found over on the game's forums, but stand out fixes include playable characters no longer being killed during simulations, and the "Too many infestations" alert having its radius adjusted.
