Here’s Even More ‘Suicide Squad’ Photos For Your Viewing Pleasure

We hope you’re not sick of Suicide Squad just yet, because as part of the ongoing slow drip of photos and information from the big Empire magazine cover story, we’ve got even more photos from the upcoming Justice League-verse movie (DC really needs to come up with some kind of comparable “Marvel Cinematic Universe” nickname for their superhero world). Joker! Harley Quinn! Killer Croc! Viola Davis! All your favorite villains are here for you to get your Halloween costumes in order.

Is it OK to have finally run out of things to say about Suicide Squad? I mean, the movie comes out next August. I don’t think we have this many photos / footage from Star Wars: The Force Awakens, a movie that comes out in less than two months, or from Batman vs. Superman, a DC movie that opens in theaters a good five months before Suicide Squad. Warner Bros. certainly putting the looooooooong in “long lead publicity” on this one.

It all looks fine and good and Margot Robbie certainly has seemed to inspire many with her Harley Quinn costume and Killer Croc certainly looks like a half-man/half-croc and Cara Delevingne looks wet and dirty and…well, ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ that’s about it.

So, why are we seeing so much from a movie that is so far away? Well, chances are most people have no idea who most of the characters (outside of The Joker and Harley Quinn) are. Captain Boomerang? Rick Flag? Not exactly Spider-Man in terms of global awareness. Getting out in front of that and introducing these characters well in advance will hopefully alleviate those concerns. But, will you already be sick of hearing about these characters by next August? Judging by the fan reaction to all these photos and covers, I’m going to guess not.
