Syfy hasn’t yet given an official order to Superman prequel Krypton, but someone is making sure these promos get attention. Following the first “leaked” trailer, get another look at Krypton with a haunting story of how Kal-El’s world once lived.
If ever we thought FOX’s Gotham too prequel-y, the idea of Syfy’s Krypton exploring Superman’s grandpappy seemed lightyears beyond. Literally! That said, the first trailer for the Goyer-produced Syfy Super-prequel is here, and it really doesn’t look half-bad!
While DC and Warner Bros. continue to fiddle around with their upcoming movie slate, there are still a few that lack directors. To fix this problem, at least for one of their movies, David S. Goyer, who is one of the co-writers of the Green Lantern Corps movie, might also be tasked with directing it.
It’s been quiet on the Green Lantern front for some time now, and though Warner Bros.’ DCEU schedule is already a bit crowded, the studio is reportedly “moving aggressively” on Green Lantern Corps. WB has set Batman v Superman scribe David S. Goyer and screenwriter Justin Rhodes to script the upcoming film, which will feature both Hal Jordan and John Stewart.
Even as DC TV finally introduces small-screen Superman for Supergirl Season 2, Syfy remains committed so the Man of Steel’s distant past.
