Arrow Season 4 stole a bit of spotlight from Comic-Con 2015 in introducing Oliver’s flashy new threads, but The Flash Season 2 better lives up to that description with an upgrade of his own. Barry Allen is rocking some classic white lightning for his Season 2 costume, but what might it mean for the speedy CW series?

The Flash sped out miles’ worth of Season 2 intel this past weekend at Comic-Con 2015, but fans of the CW speedster have leagues of unanswered questions from Season 1 finale “Fast Enough.” New set photos from The Flash Season 2 may not necessarily answer those questions, but certainly raise a host of new ones!

The CW’s Legends of Tomorrow pulled quite a bit of focus from Arrow and The Flash’s shared universe, so much so that we’d nearly forgotten the animated Vixen series on CW Seed. Now, the network has announced who will voice the iconic animal-wielding hero, as well as what Arrow and Flash stars will drop in on Vixen for some shared continuity.

The Flash finished out its first season as one of the stronger debuts in recent memory, setting a high bar for whatever pointed Flash crises we can expect in Season 2. The speedy CW drama has quite a future ahead, one that may include a new love interest for Barry Allen, as well as a certain “classical,” “square-jawed hero.” Okay, not THAT one.

The Flash has officially run “Fast Enough” to close out his first season, but all is far from well in Central City. Not only did Barry’s big mission to the past yield an unexpected (and emotional) outcome, but the team said goodbye to one of its own as time itself threatened to pull Central City into oblivion. Regardless of network, any and all DC TV series spur talk of crossover potential from fans. The Flash arrived with its Arrow connection built in, but despite Supergirl’s CBS proximity to The CW, executive producer Greg Berlanti confirms that the universes will remain separate (for now, anyway).
