Review: Halle Berry’s ‘Kidnap’ Is an Inane Delight
There are bad movies. Then there are bad movies where Halle Berry screams and recites monologues inside a minivan for an hour and a half. In Kidnap, Berry plays Karla, a working class single mother whose son gets, you guessed it, kidnapped – but the title of this movie is in the present tense, because Karla sure as hell won’t let this kidnap(ping) become a thing of the past. She’s saving her kid, and she’s saving him right now.

Halle Berry is getting her own Taken in Kidnap, which escalates steadily from a child abduction drama into the John Wick of child abduction dramas. When a mother’s kid is stolen, a parent would do anything to get them back. In the newest trailer for Kidnap, Berry does everything.

The New ‘Kidnap’ Trailer Is a High-Octane Action Thriller
The new trailer for Halle Berry’s movie Kidnap starts off about as you’d expect it to. A mother is playing a game of Marco-Polo with her son, who then disappears as she frantically searches for him in a playground. Then, she sees him being shoved into a car by an unknown person who proceeds to drive off with him. But then, Berry gets into her own van and roars off in hot pursuit through the playground parking lot. Is this an action movie now? I guess so!

Here’s Another Teaser for Tomorrow’s ‘Kingsman’ Trailer
Last week, 20th Century Fox teased the first footage from Kingsman: The Golden Circle via ten glorious seconds of accelerated action. There were gunfights, and Julianne Moore making burgers (I think), and plenty more blink-and-you’ll-miss-it looks as the exciting new world of Matthew Vaughan’s film. So, secure in the knowledge that studios never release trailer teases without the trailer following shortly thereafter, we all gathered around our computers the following day and waited for our first look at the highly anticipated sequel. And waited. Aaaaaaand waited.

Well it’s about dang time, wouldn’t you say? The first photos from Kingsman: The Golden Circle have debuted, revealing new American spy characters played by Channing Tatum (in a cowboy hat!), Halle Berry and Jeff Bridges. Oh, and Taron Egerton’s Eggsy is back, too, and sporting a rather sharp orange suit — somewhere, Karl Lagerfeld just felt the most mysterious chill abruptly run down his spine during his morning Diet Coke.

Matthew Vaughn’s sequel to Kingsman: The Secret Service is shaping up to be one of our most anticipated films of 2017: The director has begun assembling a pretty cool cast, with Julianne Moore as Kingsman 2's main villain opposite returning star Taron Egerton. While we wait to find out if (and how) Colin Firth will return, the film is looking to secure another great addition, with Halle Berry in talks to play a key role.

Independent studio Relativity Media has released a surprising press release indicating that they’ve scheduled five new films for theatrical debuts in 2016. The announcement that a movie studio would release more movies is only surprising in this instance because Relativity had filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy earlier this year, but it looks like the heads have no intention of letting a little thing
