Lupita Nyong’o and Danai Gurira really weren’t kidding about the whole “Wakanda Forever” thing. The two Black Panther stars will next team up for a TV miniseries adaptation of Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie novel Americanah, both behind and in front of the camera.
Now that Thor: Ragnarok is in theaters (and almost all of you have seen it, presumably), it’s time for Marvel fans to turn their attention to the MCU’s next installment: Black Panther. After a pair of thrilling trailers introduced us to the vibrant (and vibranium-packed) world of Wakanda, the cast of director Ryan Coogler’s upcoming superhero film has unveiled a series of new character posters, and they are quite stunning.
You can’t really deny prospective appeal of Kristen Stewart playing a gun-wielding, gadget-toting, ass-kicking super detective, which makes today’s potential casting news pretty exciting. Elizabeth Banks and Sony are reportedly eyeing Stewart to play one of the three leads in their upcoming big screen reboot of Charlie’s Angels, but she’s not the only awesome name under consideration — obviously.
For some movie stars, attending Comic-Con is a chore; a contractual obligation to be fulfilled as quickly and painlessly as possible. For others, Comic-Con is a massive perk, a chance to embrace their inner geek at the greatest celebration of the inner (and outer) geek on the entire planet.
