‘Paddington 2’ Trailer: Even British Prison Seems Pleasant
Paddington is back in the new trailer for his incredibly charming and very British sequel — well, mostly charming. Everyone’s favorite Marmalade-loving bear is pleasantly minding his own pleasant business when an evil actor (Hugh Grant; no, really) frames him for a crime he did not commit and it is decidedly very UNPLEASANT. Dastardly deeds aside, the trailer for Paddington 2 promises a sequel every bit as charming as its predecessor.

‘The Shape of Water’ Review: A Masterpiece from Guillermo del Toro
There’s a little bit of everything in the latest from Guillermo del Toro. The Shape of Water is part fairy tale, part monster movie, part love story, and part horror thriller. The filmmaker even finds room to squeeze in some nasty bits of gore and a dazzling classic Hollywood musical number. It may sound like none of that could work in one movie, but del Toro melds the many genre elements of his sublime fantasy into a loving ode to cinema. It’s a heartbreaking love story about loneliness and the transcendent power of language, and it’s simply magical.

Whether it’s horror, fairy tale, or a superhero movie, getting inside the mind of Guillermo del Toro is always a welcomed breaks from reality. Following the ghostly Crimson Peak, the filmmaker is returning to a more Pan’s Labyrinth-esque creature feature with The Shape of Water, though this latest film looks noticably less freaky than that 2006 favorite.

Guillermo del Toro has no shortage of professional projects in the air at any given time; between his planned Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark film, a program for Netflix called Trollhunters, and having to constantly dispel the rumors that he’ll return to direct a sequel for Pacific Rim or the Hellboy franchise, he keeps plenty busy. But that hasn’t stopped del Toro from continuing to pursue new creative avenues in his career, apparently exempt from our human need to take a second-long breather once in a while. The latest directorial challenge that del Toro has met head-on is a thriller set during the Cold War, and now he’s found himself an actress ready to take the plunge into the Red Scare with him.

Warner Bros. recently screened 'Godzilla,' the Gareth Edwards-directed reboot of the Toho classic, for select members of the press (insert self-congratulatory back pat). Though the rest of the world still has to wait until the beast stomps into theaters on May 16, the studio released a hefty photo gallery of 29 images (including some behind-the-scenes moments) from the film, in addition to teasing
