Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2 is going to feature several fan favorite characters, like Shredder, mutant henchmen Bebop and Rocksteady, Casey Jones and Tyler Perry (he’s playing Baxter Stockman, but Perry really is a character all his own). While many roles have already been filled, the parts of Bebop and Rocksteady have remained vacant — until now, as Paramount has cast one half of the villainous duo. Some of you may not be familiar with his face, but many of you are likely familiar with his voice talents.

Deadline reports that TMNT 2 has cast Gary Anthony Williams in the role of Bebop, the mutant warthog and one of Shredder’s two sidekicks — alongside mutant rhino Rocksteady, who has yet to be cast, although I imagine we’ll hear something in the next week. Bebop is described as “a punk street thug member of a ragtag gang of misfits who acts as if he’s intellectually superior, but isn’t.” Sounds about right.

Williams has appeared on Malcolm in the Middle and Key and Peele, and his voice talents have been featured in Adult Swim favorites The Eric Andre Show, China, IL and most notably in The Boondocks as the boisterously inappropriate Uncle Ruckus. Since the part of Bebop will most likely be heavily CGI, Williams’ voice talents will be put to very good use.

Megan Fox, Will Arnett and William Fichtner are set to reprise their roles in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2, which also stars Arrow’s Stephen Amell as Casey Jones, Tyler Perry as Baxter Stockman and Brian Tee as Shredder. Still no Krang, but that’s a solid TMNT lineup.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2 hits theaters on June 3, 2016.
