‘The Avengers” Epic Fight Scene Called the “Most Kick-Ass” By ScreenCrush Readers

Movie and TV voted for the best in entertainment of the past year in the 2012 ScreenCrush Awards, and although it seemed like 'The Dark Knight Rises' beat its rival superhero movie 'The Avengers' in just about every category, Joss Whedon's team finally came out on top when it came to the most epic fight scenes.

Fans voted for the 2012 movie with the Most Kick-Ass Fight Scene, which pitted such films as 'Wrath of the Titans,' the latest 'Resident Evil: Retribution,' 'Dredd' and, of course, the two superhero flicks against each other. But when it came down to the wire, the super-powered team of Captain America, Iron Man, Thor, Hulk, Black Widow and Hawkeye was ruled the victor, thanks to its epic heroes-vs-aliens fight scene at the film's finale.

'The Dark Knight Rises' gets the honorable mention, though, for coming in second, literally eight votes away from beating 'The Avengers' yet again. And in third place is 'The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2' for its face-off on the ice.
