'The Walking Dead' season 3 will one day soon be upon us, spilling zombie guts with samurai swords and having to find Carl in all manner of new locations.  So while torturous as the wait until the series' October 14 premiere may be, aren't you glad you have friends like us to show you the latest photos and news?  We sure think so.  So before EW's 'The Walking Dead' season 3 issue hits the stands, how would you like a sneak peek of the new season?

Courtesy of The Walking Dead Brazil for the caps, we've gotten our best look yet at Entertainment Weekly's forthcoming 'The Walking Dead' season 3 issue, set to hit stands this Friday.  We've already shown you the variant covers, as well as the first look at Dallas Roberts' new original character "Milton," but what of our favorite survivors themselves?  Judging by the 7 new photos, things sure haven't gotten any easier.

Though you won't see much of the prison interior, the six new photos from 'The Walking Dead' season 3 highlight Glenn, Rick, and Daryl's efforts to clear the structure off walkers, as well as some bad-ass new shots of Michonne (Danai Gurira) on and off-screen.  One photo in particular gives a good look at The Governor (David Morrissey) leading Andrea through the seemingly idyllic town of Woodbury, as well as a closer look at the returning Merle (Michael Rooker)'s ominous prosthetic replacement.

Satiate your hunger for 'The Walking Dead' season 3 with the photos below, and tell us what you think in the comments!
