Lately news from 'The Walking Dead' season 5 has seemed a bit spun-out, but with the October 12 premiere fast-approaching. fresh blood seems to be spraying from the AMC horror-drama in every direction. Check out our first look at ‘The Wire‘ star Seth Gilliam as comic character Father Gabriel Stokes, plus two brand-new teasers and yet another casting!

Entertainment Weekly provided the first official photo of Gilliam in character as the comic preacher, though he'd also put in a brief appearance with the Comic-Con 2014 trailer, and earlier been given away by on-set photos wearing a priest's collar. We'd guess by said trailer that Rick and his group come to stay with Gabriel at his church, but how closely the AMC series will hew to the character's tragic backstory remains to be seen.

But that's not all! In addition to two brief-new teasers highlighting the sinister nature of Terminus and Tyreese's woodland adventures, new on-set photos have seemingly confirmed that 'Everybody Hates Chris' star Tyler Williams will take a role in the new season, at least initially as one of Beth's companions, at the hospital her character mysteriously sets up in. The actor has also been observed filming with Norman Reedus' Daryl, though how it comes to pass is anyone's guess.

While we wait for ‘The Walking Dead’ season 5, we know that existing stars Christian Serratos (Rosita), Alanna Masterson (Tara) and Andrew J. West (Gareth) have all been upgraded to series regulars. The fifth season of AMC’s monster-drama will pick up shortly after season 4 finale “A,” eschewing the usual time jump to show Rick and his cohorts’ time at Terminus. Oh, and don’t forget about that Comic-Con 2014 trailer, or our beat-by-beat breakdown of its secrets!

We'll likely have even more 'Walking Dead' season 5 to show off before the week is out, but what say you? Tell us what you think of the latest additions, check out the new teasers below, and give us your predictions for the October 12 premiere in the comments!
