We don't have all the facts about 'The World's End' -- Edgar Wright, Simon Pegg and Nick Frost's latest genre-bending comedy -- but when these three team up, we don't really need to know anything (other than "When can I see it?!"). However, the latest quad poster for the summer comedy has arrived, and it offers some hints as to what we can expect.

What we've gathered so far from the film's synopsis is that 'The World's End' deals with some men who, while attempting to recapture their youth with an all-day pub crawl, are faced with a calamity that threatens the world. But what exactly is the threat at hand? It has been a mystery.

The new 'World's End' poster, which comes straight from the official site, offers these clues: comets flying through the sky, a great big explosion in the distance, and most interestingly, shadowy figures with glowing eyes lurking in the background. Are these party crashers from beyond the stars? Or do Pegg and Wright have something different in mind?

Also, notice the "X" on Pegg's forehead; what might that be about?

Here's a refresher on the synopsis:

20 years after attempting an epic pub crawl, five childhood friends reunite when one of them becomes hell bent on trying the drinking marathon again. They are convinced to stage an encore by mate Gary King, a 40-year old man trapped at the cigarette end of his teens, who drags his reluctant pals to their home town and once again attempts to reach the fabled pub, The World's End. As they attempt to reconcile the past and present, they realize the real struggle is for the future, not just theirs but humankind's. Reaching The World's End is the least of their worries.

'The Worlds End' opens in the UK on July 19 and on August 23 in the US.
