We were a little surprised by the absence of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles’ most notorious villain last year’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles reboot, but have no fear: the upcoming sequel is finally adding Shredder to the mix…along with BeBop, Rocksteady and Baxter Stockman. That’s a whole lot of villains, but there’s none more iconic or imposing than Shredder, who will be played by Brian Tee, one of Hugh Jackman’s co-stars in The Wolverine.

According to Variety, Paramount has cast Tee in the role of the villainous Shredder, the leader of the Foot Clan and the most formidable of all the Turtles’ opponents. Tee previously played Noburo in The Wolverine, starred as Liu Kang in the short-lived 2013 Mortal Kombat TV series, and also appears in Jurassic World this summer.

Tee joins recently announced additions Tyler Perry as Baxter Stockman and Arrow star Stephen Amell as Casey Jones. Reprising their roles from the first film are Megan Fox as April O’Neil, Will Arnett as Vern Fenwick and William Fichtner as Eric Sacks. The actors who portrayed the Turtles in last year’s film have not yet been confirmed to return.

Michael Bay will once again produce through his Platinum Dunes banner, with David Green (Earth to Echo) taking over directing duties. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2 hits theaters on June 3, 2016.
