Who said that making videos for the internet wouldn't lead to actual jobs? Well, it helps if you're talented and reasonably popular actors like Dave Franco and Christopher Mintz-Plasse. The two performers (who have become known for their popular series on videos on Funny or Die) have joined the new Seth Rogen comedy 'Townies.'

In the film, Seth Rogen will star as a suburban guy (living with his wife Rose Byrne) who is struggling to deal with the rowdy new college fraternity that moves in next door. Deadline says that Zac Efron will play the president of the frat while Franco will play his friend and vice president. As far as Mintz-Plasse, there was no confirmation on what role he'll play, but we'll guess he's another one of the college students.

'Townies' will be the third film together for Franco and Mintz-Plasse (they previously co-starred in 'Fright Night' and 'Superbad') and this will mark the first time Mintz-Plasse has reunited with Rogen, who helped make his career by writing the role of "McLovin."

'Townies' is being directed by Nicholas Stoller, the man behind semi-classics like 'Forgetting Sarah Marshall' and forgettable flops like 'The Five Year Engagement.' We're rooting for him on this one -- we like too many of the people involved.
