Two seasons in, AMC’s Turn hasn’t exactly…well, turned around the network’s streak of middling hits, but the Revolutionary War isn’t going to fight itself. Ergo, the network has officially confirmed Abe Woodhull and the Culper Ring to Turn a third time around, re-Turning for another turn in 2016.

Having achieved an average of 1.6 million viewers throughout its second season, bolstered by the likes of Better Call Saul and The Making of the Mob, Turn will return for an additional 10 episodes in 2016. Also appealing, no doubt, is the presence of Fantastic Four star Jamie Bell, a gilded cage that Ballers star Dwayne Johnson has only himself begun to understand.

Says AMC Of the renewal:

We loved what we saw creatively from the ‘TURN: Washington’s Spies’ team in season two, and the show achieved something that is increasingly rare in television today – a growing audience during the season. ‘TURN’ continues to attract a dedicated and distinctively upscale audience across multiple platforms, and it has carved out a meaningful space in AMC’s ‘eclectic by design’ programming palette. We look forward to working with Craig Silverstein, Barry Josephson, the expanded cast and entire ‘TURN’ team on season three.

Well, what do we think? Is Turn worth turning the turner to tune into Turn 10 more times?
