Keep October 29 bookmarked in your calendars, because that's when the first 'X-Men: Days of Future Past' trailer will hit the web. However, you don't have to wait till then to get a look at the first footage! Fox has released (as is the current trend) a teaser reel of footage for the trailer, just after the first 'Captain America 2' trailer debuted. Perfect timing!

Director Bryan Singer and the cast, which includes the epic combination of both the original 'X-Men' trilogy actors and the 'First Class' folks, debuted the footage originally at Comic-Con 2013. But if you weren't fortunate enough to step foot in San Diego, the first 'X-Men: Days of Future Past' trailer will be here for all to see this coming Tuesday. A day prior, Singer himself will be participating in a live Twitter chat to answer fans' 'X-Men' questions.

As previously stated, 'X-Men: Days of Future Past' features an immense roster, including Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen, Hugh Jackman, Halle Berry, Jennifer Lawrence, James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Nicholas Hoult, Peter Dinklage and many more. The film takes its name from the classic comic book story arch, which sees a future in which mutantkind has been decimated by the Sentinel robots, developed by Bolivar Trask. To stop this from happening, the X-Men send Wolverine back in time (though it was Kitty Pryde in the comics) to warn the X-Men of the past of the life-altering event that sets this all into motion.

'X-Men: Days of Future Past' will be ready to hit theaters on May 23, 2014. So while we wait for the first trailer, get your first look at the footage above, and tell us what you think of the film in the comments.
