‘Zombieland’ TV Series Debuts First Poster: A New Dead Is Dawning!
Though the 'Zombieland' TV series has already gone before cameras, Amazon Studios have been far more generous about releasing material from it now that the streaming network has officially added the horror-comedy adaptation to its development slate. After giving us our first look at the cast in action, 'Zombieland: The Series' has issued its first official poster art! See a new dead dawning for 'Zombieland' inside!
We won't have to wait very long for the 'Zombieland' TV series pilot to arrive on Amazon this April, but every new look at the series drives our anticipation even higher. The new series adapting the 2009 Ruben Fleischer horror-comedy has released the first official poster from the series via The Huffington Post, which clearly lacks the budget of its big-screen counterpart or even 'The Walking Dead,' but still keeps the trademark humor about its own zombie apocalypse.
The series picks up after two weeks after the events of the 2009 film, and features a cast comprised of Kirk Ward as Tallahassee, Maiara Walsh as Wichita, Tyler Ross as Columbus, and Izabela Vodovic as Little Rock. Original ‘Zombieland’ writers Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick wrote the pilot and will executive produce with the movie’s producer, Gavin Polone. Amazon will make the pilot episode available in April, and gauge fan response to decide whether or not to take the show to series for 12 episodes beginning in November.
