ABC is the latest of the broadcast networks to throw out their 2015-2016 schedules, and while few major upsets are in store, the network still had some surprising news. Will Castle or Grey’s Anatomy go on beyond their next seasons? And which of the freshman series will get an unexpected reboot?

Now that Castle has formally been renewed for an eighth season (albeit with a new showrunner), Stana Katic has signed on for an additional year as well. Surprisingly however, ABC boss Paul Lee told reporters of plans to keep the series going an additional number of years, similar to Grey’s Anatomy, which itself had its own major departure this year.

Additionally, American Crime will take a page from American Horror Story (incase American Crime Story weren’t confusing enough) in rebooting for its second season, keeping a few cast members in new roles for an all-new crime. The series will hang on until midseason however, along with the TV incarnation of Uncle Buck, while ABC’s fall schedule lies below:
