'American Horror Story' franchise veteran Denis O'Hare regrettably sat out the second cycle, 'Asylum,' taking a minor (if memorable) role in third season 'Coven,' though the two-time 'True Blood' star will be back full time for the forth go around in 'American Horror Story: Freak Show.' Find out who O'Hare will play this time around, and how 'American Horror Story' season 4 will see him "battling" series lead Jessica Lange!

FX and series creator Ryan Murphy will surely be keeping a few major details under wraps for the moment, though O'Hare offered a few tantalizing hints to Vulture, specifically, “I’m going to be working at cross-purposes with [Jessica Lange's character]. We’ll have lots of scenes with each other, but we’ll be battling.” Guesting in at least 10 episodes this season, O'Hare also offered that the character would be “a collector of freaks," rather than one of the titular brood.

Set in 1950 Jupiter, Florida, the new ‘Freak Show’ season will see Jessica Lange as a German ex-patriot running one of the last American freak shows, a cast of rescued “unusuals” that includes ‘Coven‘ and franchise stars Kathy Bates, Evan Peters, Sarah Paulson, Angela Bassett and Frances Conroy. 'The Shield' star Michael Chiklis marks the first new addition to the cast as Bates' on-screen husband, while ‘Coven’ newcomer (and Peters’ real-life girlfriend) Emma Roberts is reportedly in talks to return.

Well, what say you? Will a stronger presence for Denis O'Hare make 'Freak Show' a stronger season of 'American Horror Story' than 'Coven'? Tell us what you want to see from season 4 in the comments!
