After a few months of radio silence from Marvel on the Ant-Man and the Wasp front, the last two weeks have seen a flurry of activity. First there was the announcement that Randall Park would be joining the cast as a S.H.I.E.L.D. agent, then the news that Walton Goggins had signed on for a yet-unknown - but probably evil - part in the movie. All of that was blown away this past weekend with the news that Michelle Pfeiffer and Laurence Fishburne would be joining the cast as contemporaries of Michael Douglas‘ Hank Pym. Man, these Marvel casts just keep getting better and better.

But wait! Casting updates are obviously great, but where’s that tangible thing, the piece of artwork or new production photo that will tide fans over until things wrap up on the film? Thankfully, Marvel was one step ahead of us, releasing a brand new poster for Ant-Man and the Wasp at Hall H this weekend. It may not tease some of the new cast members, but it does (sorta) give us our first look at the Ant-Man and the Wasp together in action. Take a look:

With Paul Rudd‘s character learning how to switch from small to big in last year’s Captain America: Civil War, there was every reason to expect that Ant-Man and the Wasp would feature a whole bunch of Goliath action to match some of their fun miniature action. Fans can now look forward to seeing Rudd and Evangeline Lilly kicking some tiny, tiny butt and taking some tiny, tiny names together in the next film, which - if everything remains according to plan - will hit theaters on July 6, 2018. Production is currently underway, and while Marvel did release some extremely preliminary footage this past weekend at Comic-Con, by all accounts it was fairly basic stuff. We’ll have to wait for a couple of months before we get a look at the good stuff.
