This past week's all-new 'Arrow' installment "Broken Dolls" made for some major DC name drops along with its introduction to Black Canary, but we haven't seen anything of the character yet. Next week's "Crucible" will finally see Oliver Queen teaming up with the mysterious blonde vigilante, and we've got the first photos of the explosive hour to prove it!

Though the photos make it look as if Oliver gets the drop on Black Canary for a bit, the bo-staff wielding vigilante quickly manages to turn the tables, as the two team up to take down another set of Starling City villains. Another photo sees Oliver unmasking altogether, while others show the return of Summer Glau as DC character Isabel Rochev, along with 'True Blood' star Kevin Alejandro as Glades alderman Sebastian Blood.

Here's what The CW had to say on 'Arrow''s "Crucible"

OLIVER MEETS THE CANARY — Oliver (Stephen Amell) discovers a man who goes by the name “The Mayor” (guest star Cle Bennett) is bringing illegal guns in to The Glades, so Oliver sponsors a “Cash for Guns” event to help clean up the city. Unfortunately, The Mayor crashes the event with his gang and seriously injures Sin (guest star Bex Taylor-Klaus).

The Canary (Caity Lotz) is furious when she learns her friend is in the hospital and sets out for revenge. Meanwhile, Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) stuns Oliver with a bit of information about the Canary, Donner (guest star Dylan Bruce) asks Laurel (Katie Cassidy) to dinner, and Diggle (David Ramsey) reconnects with an old friend.

'Arrow' has been on fire lately, so check out the explosive teamup of Green Arrow and Black Canary in the "Crucible" photos below, and give us your predictions for the hour in the comments!
