'Arrow' has been having itself quite a week, just yesterday securing an early pick-up for season 2 and soon to resume its inaugural season with DC-heavy episodes "The Odyssey" and "Dodger," but the best news of all was yet to come. Not only has The CW's DC-laden Green Arrow adaptation put together a new full-length cinematic trailer for the remainder of the season, but one of season 1's recurring characters has already been upgraded to series regular in season 2! Get the latest 'Arrow' scoop inside!

Showing no signs of slowing down midway through its first season, The CW's 'Arrow' has even more reason to celebrate following the earlier news that the network officially ordered a second season for fall 2013. While largely consisting of footage already seen in this past week's "Betrayal," The CW has put together an epic new trailer for the coming episodes of the season, showing off new foes and allies alike.

Additionally, series star Emily Bett Rickards (Felicity Smoak) has officially been upgraded to series regular for the second season, featuring in her biggest episodes yet in the coming weeks. Thus far the character has remained an occasional go-to, but will soon find herself drawn into the 'Arrow's vigilante crusade in a much larger capacity.
