‘Arrow’ and ‘Flash’ Fight Captain Boomerang in New “Brave and the Bold” Crossover Photos
Both ‘Arrow’ and ‘The Flash’ will understandably take a breather next week for the holidays, something they’ll need to gear up for the big “Flash vs. Arrow” crossover December 2, but The CW isn’t quite finished putting the heroes through their paces. After the two slug it out, Barry will head to Starling City to help Oliver take on DC’s Captain Boomerang, as seen in the first photos from December 3 crossover conclusion, “The Brave and the Bold”!
Where previously ‘The Flash’ released the photo set from its own crossover lead-in “Flash vs. Arrow,” the DC archer drama has followed suit with photos of the second half, airing on December 3. From the looks of things, Barry and Oliver have forged much more of a collaborative partnership in going up against a boomerang-wielding killer (‘Spartacus’ star Nick E. Tarabay), while the ‘Flash’ team seems to have been brought in on Oliver’s secret identity, hanging out in the lair.
So says The CW of December 3 crossover conclusion “The Brave and the Bold”:
Oliver (Stephen Amell), Arsenal (Colton Haynes) and Diggle (David Ramsey) track down the location of a boomerang-wielding killer named Digger Harkness (guest star Nick Tarabay) but are surprised when they come face to face with an A.R.G.U.S. team. Diggle asks Lyla (guest star Audrey Marie Anderson) why A.R.G.U.S. is involved but she defers until Harkness attacks the building, killing several agents and targeting Lyla. The Arrow joins the fight and gets help from an old friend—The Flash (guest star Grant Gustin). Harkness manages to get away and Oliver teams up with Barry again to find him before he can get to Lyla. When Harkness plants five bombs in the city that are timed to explode at the same time, both teams must come together to save the city.
We’ll have to suffer through Thanksgiving in the week to come, but while we wait, check out ‘Arrow’'s portion of the big crossover with the full photo set from “The Brave and the Bold” below! What other DC goodies do you think we can expect when ‘Arrow’ and ‘The Flash’ team up?
