While initially somewhat taken aback with the idea that The CW would be bringing the Green Arrow to TV so quickly after 'Smallville,' we quickly warmed to the idea of 'Arrow' after seeing its realistic tone in motion. Still, no DC superhero show is complete without a few DC villains, so what previously unannounced character will menace Oliver Queen this fall on The CW?

Straight out of the Comic-Con 2012, panel, wherein the 'Arrow' pilot was exclusively shown to fans in Ballroom 20 followed by a Q&A between the show's cast and creative, we learned an exciting tidbit about the forthcoming debut of the new Green Arrow TV series. We'd already glimpsed from a previous trailer that famed DC super-villain Deathstroke the Terminator would make an appearance, but now it seems he isn't the only one!

Former 'X2: X-Men United' star Kelly Hu will take the role of DC super-villain China White, who will debut sometime during the first season. The character first appeared in the 'Green Arrow: Year One' series of graphic novels, on which the new series is heavily based. China will be introduced as a South Pacific drug cartel leader who Oliver Queen encounters during his years marooned on a remote island, as first seen in the show's pilot episode.

No stranger to superhero work, in addition to her work as Lady Deathstrike of 'X2,' Hu has also voiced several characters from the Cartoon Network series 'Young Justice,' and previously guested on The CW playing 'The Vampire Diaries' character Pearl, a vampire friend of Katherine (Nina Dobrev).

'Arrow' will premiere this fall on Wednesday, October 10. In the meantime, what other DC characters would you like to see pop up on the show? Let us know your thoughts in the comments!
