'Arrow' "Seeing Red" Preview: Roy Loses Control, But Will Oliver Put Him Down?

EDIT
|

This past week's 'Arrow' installment "The Man Under the Hood" took its post-"Deathstroke" time to pivot a few characters toward their season 2 endgame, but at least one major obstacle remains before Oliver and the other can take down Slade: none other than Roy himself! The red-hooded hero loses control of his rage in next week's "Seeing Red," and the full set of photos don't spell out a promising fate for the young street tough.

Considering we last saw Roy drained of blood to form Slade's Mirakuru-infused army, it remains to be seen exactly what sets him off with such rage as to crash a Moira Queen rally, nearly killing Thea in the process. Diggle and Sara seem more than ready to put Roy down for good, while later shots of Oliver in the lair seem more than a little distraught. Might the young future crimefighter have met an early end?

Here's what the CW had to say of next Wednesday's "Seeing Red"

ROY SPINS OUT OF CONTROL – The mirakuru sends Roy (Colton Haynes) into an uncontrollable rage and he unleashes on the city. After Roy’s deadly fight with a police officer, Oliver (Stephen Amell) realizes the mirakuru has taken over Roy completely and must figure out a way to stop him. Things get more complicated after Sara (Caity Lotz) declares that Roy is too far gone and the only way to stop him is to kill him.

Meanwhile, Thea (Willa Holland) believes she can breakthrough to Roy so she goes on camera at Moira’s (Susanna Thompson) campaign rally to lure him to Verdant. Her ploy works but after Roy attacks Thea, Team Arrow unleashes on him.

This late in the season, we might not be too surprised to see a body or two drop before the final confrontations against Slade, but what say you? Is Team 'Arrow' about to go down a member? How might Slade and his new army press the advantage? Check out the latest from 'Arrow''s "Seeing Red" above and below, and give us your predictions in the comments!
