The CW’s ‘Arrow’ may be up and running after a duel with Ra’s al Ghul, but Starling City is still in need of an “Uprising” to escape the clutches of its latest maniacal DC villain. Watch Arsenal and Black Canary lead the charge (with some familiar faces) in the full photo set from next week’s epic conclusion, and get early intel on what brings Slade Wilson back into the fold with the latest ‘Arrow’ updates!

Be warned of minor spoilers for ‘Arrow’ season 3 from here on out, but it seems Oliver Queen won’t waste much time getting to his feet for the return to Starling City, even if Roy and Laurel have to galvanize the Glades against Brick (Vinnie Jones) in the meantime. The full set of photos tease all-out war before Oliver’s return, while even Malcolm Merlyn and a returning Sin (‘The Killing’ star Bex Taylor-Klaus) get in on the action.

From The CW’s official description of next Wednesday’s “Uprising”:

MALCOLM MAKES AN OFFER TO HELP TEAM ARROW — Still operating without Oliver (Stephen Amell) and desperate to stop Brick (guest star Vinnie Jones), Team Arrow is forced to consider Malcolm’s (John Barrowman) offer to help shut Brick down as Malcolm has a personal score to settle with the felon. Roy (Colton Haynes) and Laurel (Katie Cassidy) point out that the team could use some help to save the innocents of The Glades, but Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) is adamantly against it. They look to Diggle to make the final decision. Meanwhile, the flashbacks chronicle Malcolm’s descent from kind-hearted father and husband to cold-blooded killer after the murder of his wife.

But that’s not all! Barring some further spoilers (seriously, look away now) of Oliver’s return to the fray, the latest ‘Arrow’ synopsis of the subsequent week’s “The Return” reveals how Manu Bennett’s Deathstroke causes further menace, while flashbacks provide yet another shocker:

THE RETURN OF DEATHSTROKE AND TOMMY MERLYN — Malcolm (John Barrowman) puts Oliver (Stephen Amell) and Thea (Willa Holland) in a dangerous situation that lands them on Lian Yu with Oliver’s former enemy, Deathstroke (guest star Manu Bennett). A flashback reveals when Oliver and Maseo (guest star Karl Yune) returned to Starling City to retrieve the Omega bio weapon, and despite being under strict orders from Amanda Waller (guest star Cynthia Addai-Robinson) not to reveal himself to anyone, Oliver looks in on his family, Laurel (Katie Cassidy) and Tommy (guest star Colin Donnell)

That’s quite a bit to take in off the bat, but in the meantime, preview ‘Arrow’'s “Uprising” with photos above and trailers below, and tell us in the comments what you hope to see from season 3's latter half!
