HBO Sundays will get a bit more prestigious tonight with the debut of 'The Newsroom' season 2, but you needn't wait until the evening hours for one of the hottest previews of the fall! 'Boardwalk Empire' season 4 will pour out this September, and from the looks of the full trailer debuting on TV tonight, Nucky Thompson is in for his most dangerous year on the boardwalk yet.

Notably absent are a number of the familiar 'Boardwalk Empire' players, with no appearances from Margaret Thompson (Kelly MacDonald) and cursory glances at Nelson Van Alden ('Man of Steel' star Michael Shannon), but we see plenty of the new players, from Ron Livingston to an imposing Jeffrey Wright. Far and away the coolest moment of the trailer proves to be the inquiry into Richard Harrow's gangland shootout from last season, in which 15 men were killed!

The new season for Steve Buscemi’s prohibition gangster Nucky Thompson includes Patricia Arquette as a Tampa speakeasy owner, ‘The Killing‘ star Eric Ladin as a young J. Edgar Hoover, ‘The Hunger Games: Catching Fire‘ star Jeffrey Wright as educated Harlem leader Dr. Narcisse, ‘True Blood‘ star Brian Geraghty, Ron Livingston in a new regular role, and HBO vet Domenick Lombardozzi as Chicago mobster Ralph Capone, elder brother to Al Capone (Stephen Graham).

Well, what are you waiting for? Check out the full 'Boardwalk Empire' season 4 trailer above, and tell us in the comments what you're most looking forward to seeing!
