The last time Taylor Kitsch and director Peter Berg teamed up to adapt a live-action version of a popular game, the world suffered through a 'Battleship' movie. Now, Kitsch and Berg have reteamed for a live-action trailer for the new Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare game, and even at just under two minutes, it's already better than 'Battleship.'

Co-starring Emily Ratajkowski (she of 'Blurred Lines' video fame), the first-person trailer takes us through a Call of Duty warzone with Kitsch as your partner/guide. There's a lot of new tech in this spot, which makes sense since the game takes place 40 years in the future.

Fight your way through a series of enemy forces and discover new movements, capabilities and weaponry along the way in this heart-racing journey through 2059 Lagos.

Kitsch, Ratajkowski and Berg aren't the only Hollywood players involved with the new 'Call of Duty' game. It was produced by Dana Brunetti ('The Social Network') and stars Kevin Spacey as the game's villain.

In addition to a quality upgrade over 'Battleship,' Call of Duty will surely make more money. The last installment, Call of Duty: Ghosts, sold over $1 billion worth of units. And, Electronic Arts was actually disappointed by that!

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare is set to be released for Windows, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One on November 4.
