Marvel dropped an extended 'Captain America 2' trailer, giving us one major look at the next installment and exciting fans to the point of mass hysteria. Well, perhaps it's not as dramatic as that, but this is the most extensive look yet at the sequel, officially titled 'Captain America: The Winter Soldier.'

Fandango first dropped the new 'Captain America 2' trailer, which kicks off with an extended clip from Cap and Black Widow's mission to "secure a ship," in which its crew members (including S.H.I.E.L.D. Agent Jasper Sitwell, played by Maximiliano Hernandez) are being held captive by comic book villain Batroc the Leaper (UFC star Georges St-Pierre). While we don't see how the scene culminates, we can assume Cap has things covered -- we know Romanoff does, at least.

The 'Captain America 2' trailer also features more looks at the action to come, with Sebastian Stan's Winter Soldier laying waste to Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson), The Falcon (Anthony Mackie) and, oh yeah, the floating S.H.I.E.L.D. base. In the film, Bucky Barnes, once thought to be dead, is revived, genetically enhanced and brainwashed into becoming the assassin known as 'The Winter Soldier,' and it's up to Captain America (Chris Evans) and Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) to take him down.

'Captain America 2' hits theaters this April 4, and the new trailer should get your excitement in gear.
