ABC's 'Castle' may not have had anything to show at Comic-Con 2013, and even had a bit of a rocky start with series star Nathan Fillion's protest in showing up to the set, but for now it seems the hit ABC drama has gotten back on track with some fresh faces for the imminent season 6. Joining 'House' vet Lisa Edelstein and Yancey Arias are 'Transformers' and '24' star Glenn Morshower, along with 'Alphas' star Warren Christie, but as whom?

According to TVGuide, Morshower will dig deep into his well of military characters to play Michael Reed, a former general fighting to keep certain secrets of his past under wraps. Meanwhile, Entertainment Weekly reveals that Christie will appear in the second episode of the upcoming season as reporter Brad Parker, who has a gift for digging up dirt that may end up having dire implications for national security. Somehow, we're guessing the two roles are related.

In addition to Lisa Edelstein's role as Beckett's new Washington supervisor (that is to say nothing of her answer to Castle's big question), Yancey Arias has also joined the sixth season in the role of Carl Villante, the head of an elite investigative unit who clashes with both Beckett and Castle during a high-stakes case.

Assuming 'Castle' season 6 remains on track production-wise, are you excited to see what the newest year brings to the page? Will you watch the September 23 premiere?
