It may be a while yet before we hear or see anything concrete from CBS' forthcoming 'Beverly Hills Cop' TV series, a sequel series set in the same universe as Eddie Murphy's infamous Axel Foley and focusing on the character's son Aaron Foley. Still, with Brandon T. Jackson confirmed as the new lead, and Eddie Murphy likely to make several appearances if picked up to series, CBS' 'Beverly Hills Cop' has added yet another famous comedic face to its ranks. Find out who standup Kevin Pollak plays in the new 'Beverly Hills Cop' series inside!

'Beverly Hills Cop' may have a long way to go before CBS premieres the new TV series, but it doesn't appear to be stopping short when it comes to comedic talent. Actor Kevin Pollak is among the first big names attached to the pilot episode, along with Brandon T. Jackson in the leading role and reported guest appearances from franchise originator Eddie Murphy.

Produced by Eddie Murphy and ‘Last Resort’ producer Shawn Ryan, the forthcoming ‘Beverly Hills Cop’ series has a pilot production commitment and follows Axel Foley’s son Aaron Foley working to “take down the criminal elements of the rich and famous, while simultaneously trying to escape the shadow of his larger than life father.”

Pollak will take the role of Bevery Hills Police Department in-house attorney Rodney Daloof, a stickler for rules and a loud mouth. No other castings have been announced, but we're keeping our fingers crossed for Judge Reinhold and a banana.

What say you? Are you excited to see where 'Beverly Hills Cop' takes a new generation as a TV series?
