We’ve given you the full rundown on TV panels, but what about all those amazing movie panels? Read on for a full schedule of movie panels and what to expect from the big studios this year.


The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn — Part 2 (Hall H, 12:45 – 1:45 pm) Lionsgate/Summit

It’s finally here — the end of ‘Twilight’! Grab your body glitter and get ready to watch Jacob fall in love with a little girl, Bella as a full-on vampire, and Edward… he’ll just be brooding and stuff.

Wreck-It Ralph (Hall H, 2:05 – 3:05 pm) Disney

Disney’s new animated take on classic video games features Ralph (John C. Reilly), a villain from an 8-bit game who decides he’s tired of just being the bad guy.

Oz: The  Great and Powerful (Hall H, 2:05 – 3:05 pm) Disney

Sam Raimi‘s prequel tells the origin story of the Wizard of Oz and how he came to rule the land, starring James Franco and Michelle Williams

Frankenweenie (Hall H, 2:05 – 3:05 pm) Disney

Tim Burton returns to animation and transforms his beloved black and white short film into a black and white feature about a boy who brings his dog back from the dead.

Hotel Transylvania(Indigo Ballroom, Hilton San Diego Bayfront, 3:00 – 4:00 pm)

Sony and Happy Madison team up to bring you this new animated comedy feature starring Adam Sandler and Andy Samberg, about the first human guest at a hotel run by vampires.

‘Chinese Zodiac’ (Hall H, 3:25 – 4:25 pm)

Jackie Chan’s latest action adventure finds him seeking out 12 bronze heads that represent the 12 animals of the Chinese Zodiac.

The Expendables 2 (Hall H, 4:45 – 5:45 pm) Lionsgate/Summit

Sylvester Stallone is back, and he’s brought a ton of your favorite action stars with him, as the gang sets out on a simple mission that quickly becomes a quest for revenge.

ParaNorman(Hall H, 10:45 – 11:45 am) Focus Features

The latest stop motion effort from LAIKA features a boy who can speak to the dead and is his town’s only hope for rescue from an evil curse.

Resident Evil: Retribution(Hall H, 4:05 – 4:35 pm) Screen Gems

Alice is back in the latest entry to Paul W.S. Anderson’s ‘Resident Evil’ franchise — this time Alice fights with a resistance movement to bring down the evil Umbrella corporation once and for all.

Total Recall (Hall H, 4:35 – 6:35 pm) Sony

Len Wiseman’s remake of the Paul Verhoeven sci-fi classic tells the story of a man, caught between warring nations, unaware what side he’s supposed to be on. It’s not as deep as it sounds, trust us.

Looper(Hall H, 4:35 – 6:35 pm) Sony

Rian Johnson’s latest film is a sci-fi actioner starring Joseph Gordon-Levitt as an assassin who kills people sent back from the future. That’s all well and good until he’s tasked with killing his future self.

Elysium (Hall H, 4:35 – 6:35 pm) Sony

From the visionary director who brought us ‘District 9′ — arguably one of the best sci-fi films of the last decade — comes ‘Elysium.’

Django Unchained(Hall H, 11:30 am – 12:30 pm) The Weinstein Co.

Quentin Tarantino‘s epic western finds a slave named Django apprenticing under a bounty hunter to rescue his enslaved wife from an evil plantation owner.

End of Watch (Hall H, 12:45 – 1:45 pm) Open Road Films

A routine traffic stop becomes a nightmare for two cops who draw the wrath of a dangerous drug cartel.

‘Silent Hill: Revelations 3D’ (Hall H, 12:45 – 1:45 pm) Open Road Films

When a girl’s father goes missing she enters the alternate world of Silent Hill to find him, and possibly solve the mystery of the nightmares she’s been having all her life.

Pacific Rim (Hall H, 2:30 – 5:00 pm) Warner Bros./Legendary Pictures

We’re so jazzed on this new Guillermo del Toro project, and here’s why: giant robots, manned by humans, fighting off an alien attack. Need we say more?

This Superman reboot comes courtesy of Comic-Con mainstay Zack Snyder, and might just signal that DC is ready to create its first big movie universe.

Peter Jackson’s prequel to the ‘Lord of the Rings’ trilogy tells the tale of Bilbo Baggins and his perilous quest to retrieve valuable treasure from a terrifying dragon.

Iron Man 3 (Hall H, 6:00 – 7:00 pm) Disney/Marvel

‘Iron Man’ returns in the third entry to the franchise, but this time he’s got Shane Black on his side — which means we’re in for some serious ass-kicking.
