The 'Guardians of the Galaxy' might have torn around the universe (and the box office) this weekend, but considering how close to home Netflix's forthcoming 'Daredevil' TV series continues to shoot, things have been awfully quiet. Enter some intrepid Instagramming, with our first grainy look at 'Boardwalk Empire' star Charlie Cox filming as blind lawyer Matt Murdock, The Man Without Fear!

We've previously seen a few scattered set photos from New York production of the Netflix Marvel series (which maintained curiously little presence at Comic-Con 2014), though Instagram user craigengler managed to snap our first good look at Charlie Cox in costume as Matt Murdock, the titular 'Daredevil.' It's nowhere near as exciting as an actual costume, mind you, but with a suit-and-sunglasses Charlie Cox hanging out in the open, no doubt we'll start to see more official production photos rolling out in the near future.

Apart from taking place in the same cinematic universe as ‘The Avengers‘ and ‘Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D,’ we know that each Marvel Netflix series will shoot 13 episodes, culminating in an eight-episode team-up with ‘The Defenders’ miniseries and bringing the total to 60 episodes (to start). Drew Goddard was replaced as showrunner by 'Spartacus' vet Steven S. DeKnight, though Goddard remains a consultant, while Melissa Rosenberg has been attached to the ‘Jessica Jones’ series. That leaves ‘Iron Fist’ and ‘Luke Cage’ without any major names confirmed, for the moment.

Check out Charlie Cox's Matt Murdock in all his grainy glory below, and tell us in the comments what you want to see when Marvel unveils its latest superhero property on Netflix in 2015!
