It's here! Well, sort of. 'Doctor Who' fans have been waiting since Comic-Con 2013 to see the 50th anniversary trailer for the November 23 extravaganza "The Day of the Doctor," and the BBC has finally granted a fresh look at the proceedings. It's not quite the footage we saw from San Diego, but what 'Doctor Who' fan could resist seeing all the past Time Lords return for "The Day of the Doctor"?

Admittedly, a few 'Doctor Who' fans might feel let down by the absence of any real footage from "The Day of the Doctor," but the slick CG and composite footage manages to put together a number of past Doctors and companions in stunning HD, as we've never seen them before. Speaking over the footage, current Time Lord Matt Smith says:

I’ve been running all my lives. Through time and space, every second of every minute of every day for over 900 years. I fought for peace in a universe at war. Now the time has come to face the choices I have made in the name of the Doctor. Our future depends on one single moment of one impossible day. The day I’ve been running from all my life: The Day of the Doctor!

Plenty of visual treats for fans of the franchise to be found in the brief spot, but unfortunately no real footage of the installment yet. The landmark anniversary special will run for a full 75 minutes, while the 23rd will also see the airing of a special by Professor Brian Cox on BBC Two about the science behind the show, coupled with ‘Sherlock‘ star Mark Gatiss’ ‘Doctor Who’ origins movie, ‘An Adventure in Space and Time.’

Take in the glory of the first 'Doctor Who' 50th anniversary trailer for "The Day of the Doctor" above, and tell us if you'll watch on November 23!
