When the first promotional materials for Naughty Dog's The Last of Us made the rounds, female lead Ellie shared a bit more than a passing resemblance to actress Ellen Page. That's not the case anymore, but that doesn't mean Ms. Page approved of the situation.

In a recent AMA on Reddit, the Beyond: Two Souls star shared her opinion on her likeness appearing in The Last of Us. "I guess I should be flattered that they ripped off my likeness, but I am actually acting in a video game called Beyond Two Souls, so it was not appreciated," she wrote.

To be fair, Ellie's look in the game was changed before Beyond: Two Souls was announced. It's understandable how Ms. Page might find the non-contracted use of her face in a video game a bit disconcerting, particularly since she was starring in a game of her own officially. However, now there's little in common with Ellie and Ellen, so we're not sure what all the hub-bub is about.

What do you think? Does Ellen Page have a valid complaint, or is Ellie different enough in your eyes?
