Just when you thought it was safe to take your fingers out of your ears.  That's right, we know 'Glee' season 4 would cover the inescapably catchy hooks of Carly Rae Jepsen's "Call Me Maybe," but how we can have our lives ruined a full three days ahead of 'Glee's season 4 premiere 'The New Rachel!"  Watch as the latest incarnation of the New Directions performs everyone's favorite indecisive telephone song!

We just watched 'Glee' season 4 release Kate Hudson's full-length performance of "Americano / Dance Again," so this is crazy, but here's another 'Glee' song, so watch it maybe!  Indeed, 'Glee' has seen fit to release yet another performance from "The New Rachel," which kicks off 'Glee's hotly-anticipated fourth season on Thursday, September 13.

As you can see from the video, the New Directions are clearly down a few members, though filling out their ranks for now is the addition of 'The Glee Project' winner Alex Newell, or "Unique."  Accompanying Unique for the number being performed for Artie is Blaine, Brittany, and Tina, all of whom vie for their spot as the new leader of the group.

In addition to Sarah Jessica Parker and Kate Hudson,  other new cast-mates include‘Homeland‘ star Melissa Benoist and Becca Tobin, along with Dean Geyer and Jacob Artist.  Geyer will portray a new love interest for Rachel in New York, while Artist will take the role of Puck’s younger half-brother Jake.

Check out the new full-length performance below, and thought your thoughts on ‘Glee’ season 4 might be crazy, there's our forum, so comment maybe!
