‘Glee’ Stars Tweet Show Exit, Reveal Body-Swap Video

Glee Season 3
FOX

There are a great deal of question marks floating around ‘Glee‘s next season, given all the turnover and flip-flopping series creator Ryan Murphy has done over which stars would graduate and/or leave the series at the end of the current season.  Now that production has wrapped, are the stars playing coy or being open about their commitment to another season?

Shooting recently wrapped on the third season of FOX’s critically lukewarm mega-hit ‘Glee,’ though viewers won’t learn with any real measure which characters stay or go until the May 22 finale.  The biggest of the group, Lea Michele, Cory Monteith and Chris Colfer have been confirmed to return in an unknown capacity next season, but what of some of the other members of the “New Directions?”

If Twitter is to serve as any kind of guide, TooFab may have clued into ‘Glee’ stars Amber Riley (Mercedes) and Dianna Agron (Quinn) saying their goodbyes to their time spent on the show.  Each star’s telling tweets at the end of production paint a somewhat telling picture that neither Mercedes nor Quinn will return next year!  Says Riley in her Twitter (Via TwitLonger):

That’s a wrap on Amber Riley! Just closed a chapter in my life, the only thing I’ve known day in and day out for three years.

I’m going to miss the whole Glee family, seeing them everyday. I have so many brothers and sisters now :) But I am looking forward to a much needed and deserved summer vacation! SCHOOL’S OUT Glee Kids! Let’s play!

Such words could be construed as a message of goodbye to the season rather than series of course, but similarly sentimental tweets from Dianna Agron seem to tell the same story:

Certainly sounds like the words of someone leaving the show behind, yes?  The mystery continues…

And in another bit of cast shuffling-related fun, remember that trippy alternate-reality episode “Props” airing next week that sees the ‘Glee’ cast swapping bodies, styles and personalities when Tina suffers a head injury?  We’ve seen a few of the photos/contrasts before, but check out this new video revealing the full extent of the switcheroo!  Afterward, tell us who you think will exit the series in the comments below!
