Given so many cancelled TV series in the last few years, and the flurry of resurgences that see shows like 'Arrested Development' returning from the grave, one name that hasn't gotten much play in recent years is that of a potential movie wrapping up the critically adored P.I. series 'Veronica Mars.'  Series star Kristen Bell certainly hasn't been starved for work since its end, but what does she have to say on the progress of a movie?

Much as we love Kristen Bell, we can't help missing the character and series that first put her on our radar, that of the critically-acclaimed but ultimately cancelled high school detective drama 'Veronica Mars.'  Like any brilliant-but-cancelled series, the rumor mill has consistently churned out the idea of reuniting the cast and finishing the story in a movie, though given the years that have passed, many think it unlikely.  Still, what of Bell herself?

Speaking to Vulture in promotion of her new movie 'Hit & Run,' the current 'House of Lies' star had this to say on the possibility of bringing 'Veronica Mars' to the big screen:

Oh, yeah.  I would love to.  Everyone involved wants to do it, but Warner Bros is a real stinker. It's a real monster of a legal system there.  If I had the money right now to produce it, I would do it in a heartbeat. I still have hope for it, I really do.

Of course, it's hard not to feel the sentiment certainly sounds familiar, so Moviehole spoke with actor Jason Dohring about the same possibility, which seems admittedly more farfetched.

The truth is, the only chance we ever had of making a 'continuation' project, such as this, came from the whole-hearted support of our fan base.  Perhaps with continued support, enough weight can be pulled in our direction to finally pull it off.

As per usual, everyone on-board but the studios.  But hey, we still got 'Arrested Development' back, didn't we?  Do you think a 'Veronica Mars' movie is still in the cards?  Tell us what you'd most want to see in the comments below!
