If Actors Used Their Real Names on Movie Posters
Sad to say, we live in a world where people would rather see a movie starring Tom Cruise than Tom Mapother IV. Or Michael Caine than Maurice Micklewhite. We know -- we don't understand it either.
So many actors have changed their names from awesome names to marketable names just to get ahead (to be fair, it worked). But we thought it would be nice to imagine a world where Olivia Wilde is not afraid to go by Olivia Cockburn. So we made some posters to reflect what Hollywood would look like if actors never changed their names. (Posters by Kristy Puchko.)
