And the house cleaning continues at NBC! Just hours after announcing the cancellation of 'Go On' and a number of NBC series, along with a surprising renewal for 'Community' NBC has officially bid adieu to struggling musical drama 'Smash,' as well as Ryan Murphy's freshman dramedy 'The New Normal.' Find out what else is kaput at NBC inside!

It's been a lean upfront season for NBC this year, with a number of major cancellations to its lineup. The latest among the dead are certainly of little surprise to viewers, as the perpetually struggling and critically-lauded 'Smash' has finally been lain to rest, along with the lukewarm Ryan Murphy dramedy 'The New Normal.'

'Smash's cancellation had been prophesied for some time, particularly after the recent move to Saturdays, and finale airdate of May 26. 'The New Normal' had been received less harshly, but struggled to find an audience along with the earlier-cancelled 'Go On.'

Also worth noting is the cancellation of 'Rock Center with Brian Williams,' but largely for the nepotism jokes coinciding with William's daughter Alison's role on HBO's 'Girls.'

Oh well. Will you miss either 'The New Normal or 'Smash?' Which of NBC's new lineup has you the most interested?
