Anyone so inclined has already breezed through Netflix’s animated Castlevania, but they won’t have to stop there. The Adi Shankar-produced series is confirmed to return for Season 2, and won’t go so quietly into the night.

Deadline confirms that Netflix has picked up an additional eight episodes of its animated Castlevania, marking Season 2 with double the order of its predecessor. The first season only debuted on Netflix this Friday, July 7.

For those not familiar with the new series, its cast includes Preacher and Outlander star Graham McTavish as Dracula, followed by Hannibal alum Richard Armitage as Trevor Belmont, Battlestar favorite James Callis as Alucard, Alejandra Reynoso as Sypha Belnades, Emily Swallow as Lisa Tepes, Orphan Black and Watchmen star Matt Frewer as “The Bishop,” and Tony Amendola as “The Elder.”

Adapting the plot of Castlevania III: Dracula’s Curse, “Part 1” follows the last surviving member of the disgraced Belmont clan, as he tries to save Eastern Europe from extinction at the hand of Vlad “Dracula” Tepes. The series was also described as “rated R,” and done in the vein of Game of Thrones. Adventure Time executive producer Fred Seibert helms the series with Shankar.

Shankar is also working on an animated Assassin’s Creed, but watch the Castlevania trailer below, and all episodes on Netflix.
